“The bad thing in this area right now is meth. That’s my battle, losing good friends to that. Not that anyone has died, but some have lost everything, like their jobs — and I’m talking good jobs. I have a couple friends who lost a lot, but are recovered from it.

“Addiction is a disease, so it’s hard. I just try to support them however I can. In the end, it’s up to them to fight it.”
