Tattoo reminder to ‘chill out and adjust’
She got her first tattoo the night of high school graduation. “So I guess it was kind of like rebellion.”
“I got this tattoo around the time of my divorce. It was a much-needed thing. I have an issue with change, so I put it off for a really long time.
“If you research the octopus, you’ll find it can adapt to change really well. If you chop off one of its limbs, it’s going to grow back. If you change the temperature of the water, it adjusts. So, this was sort of a reminder that I’m not going to die, so just chill out and adjust.”
