Health care experience fuels goal in medicine

“I just graduated from Goose Creek Memorial. I hope to go to Lamar University and major in biochemistry. I want to go to med school and become an oncologist or anesthesiologist.
“I was in the health science technology program and got to work at San Jacinto Hospital. The experience was a lot different than you would think. It’s not like what you see on some of those TV shows, you know, but I liked it a lot.”
