Girlfriend dies after battling chronic disease
“I moved here from Massachusetts about six years ago as a mechanical engineer. I met this girl at work and moved in with her.
“Somehow, she had a chronic disease that I didn’t know about. She didn’t really know about it, either. She finally passed away a couple weeks ago. I’m 76 now and she was 52.
“I’m heading to North Carolina soon, where we’re going to have a service and spread her ashes.”
