‘Art is probably one of the hardest careers’
In addition to his art, he also used to be a pretty good break dancer.
“I used to be into art, mostly using colored pencils to draw realistic stuff like people’s portraits. In junior high I would doodle a lot in class, just daydream and draw whatever. Then one of my teachers was like, ‘Why don’t you sign up for art?’ and I ended up doing it. I haven’t done it so much recently.
“With art you get critiqued a lot. You do your best, and somebody has something bad to say about it. To me, art is probably one of the hardest careers. You could do something really, really well, and you think it’s the best thing you’ve done, and somebody will say it’s crappy.”
