After 45 years, sisters back together again

“We’ve had wonderful vacations and trips together.”

“We’re sisters, and we lived apart for about 45 years. We moved from Idaho to California as teenagers, then she got married and moved away. It wasn’t until 2007 that I came out here to Texas.

“We’ve always been close, even when we were apart. But it’s not like living in the same city. The best part is being involved in everyday things.

“When you live apart you only see each other for holidays, birthdays or other special occasions. Now we can see each other any time. We can go shopping, go to movies, go to the dog park, which we love because we’re crazy about our dogs. Now that we’re older, it’s nice to be together again.”
