Stay-at-home mom helps create family unit
“I had a very rough childhood. My parents didn’t give two hoots about me, so I kind of raised myself. And my husband’s family was military; he was pretty much raised by the military because his parents were gone constantly.
“Based on those experiences we decided very early on that I was going to be a stay-at-home mom, and my kids would benefit from that and everything we had to teach them. Today, we are very much a family unit.”
