Retirement top of mind for feed store owner

Man stands in front of his feed store

Prior to opening Town and Country Feed and Seed, he worked in the building materials business.

“This place was built in 1928. It served as an interurban depot, moving people back and forth through the area.

“We bought the building and land from the Missouri Pacific Railroad and opened our feed store here in 1984. Over those 31 years, we’ve probably had fewer than four weeks of vacation. We’re finally planning to retire to the country near Canton, Texas, so we’re trying to sell this place. Know anybody who wants to buy a historic building?”
