He remembers growing up with no prejudice
At 50 years old, he is studying at Lee College to become a counselor.
“I have the gift of gab. I talk to anybody. No matter what race, color, whatever, I have no problem. It’s probably because of the way I grew up, where I grew up.
“I’m originally from Mississippi. Back home, I used to hang out with all different types of people. There was no prejudice whatsoever. I guess it’s getting better overall but it’s still a shame to see some of that nowadays, just a crying shame.
