Basketball dreams come with grades, too
Bailey Gordon’s father had a college basketball scholarship offer, but went into the Army instead.
“Basketball is my passion. I come out here every day to practice because I’m trying to make the varsity next year. My ultimate goal is to make it to the NBA one day.”
What do you think your chances are of reaching the NBA?
“Maybe 20 percent. I just have to continue to practice hard and get my grades up. I’m a pretty good student. I just have to study harder.”
