Her hands are full raising husband’s granddaughter

Peggy Hemmenway, who has a 25-year-old daughter, thought she was done raising children.
“She’s been with me since she was 2 months old, and now she’s about to turn 9. It’s a long story.
“Actually, she was my husband’s daughter’s daughter. He came to me one day and asked if I would help him take care of his granddaughter and I said, well, yeah, OK. And she’s been with me ever since. I have custody of her.
“I have a daughter who’s 25, so I thought I was done raising children. But then she came along and I became her Mimi. We have a lot of fun together. She definitely has kept me focused and in line.”
