Ministry focuses on helping the whole person

Christopher Baker heads up Incredible Faith Ministries.

“My take on ministry is a little bit different from others. Some people just want to preach and do the basic things. I want to help the whole person — the family, the home, the business side and, of course, the spiritual side.”

How do you do that?
“In addition to the spiritual aspect we have a tax office, so we can help people with their taxes. I’m a licensed insurance agent and have a background in mortgages, so I can advise people in that area. I’m also a high school teacher, so I can help with parenting questions. And we have a child care center.

“I’m also writing a book called ‘The Success Wheel.’ If you have a tire and any part of it’s flat, then you don’t roll. That’s true in life as well. The different components of your life are the different parts of your tire. If they’re all at a high level, then you’re rolling, you’re succeeding, you’re progressing, you’re accomplishing your goals and all the things God wants you to do. Because I think he wants us to be successful in church, successful in business, successful at home, parenting, marriage, all of the above.”
