He had a plan for retirement, and he’s sticking to it

Walking in the park is an important part of Charlie Brown’s life in retirement.
“I’m 72 and have been retired for a number of years. I stay young by walking, riding a bike and spending a lot of time with my grandkids. I also build and fly radio-controlled airplanes.
“All of this allows me to get my exercise and keep my mind active. You need to do things that make you feel happy and excited.
“Before I retired, I had a vision of all the things I wanted to do. I’ve heard others say they don’t have much to do. You need a plan. Having nothing to do, I think that would be kind of boring. I don’t know what that’s like because I’m never bored.”
