Animé character inspires her to become a butler
Chelsea Porter dreams of writing movie scripts.
“I’m trying to save $15,000 to go to school in The Netherlands to become a professional butler. It’s the International Butler Academy, and they train in a real castle. One of the field trips is to Germany, where they teach you how to drive armored vehicles and protect your employer.”
Why do you want to be a butler?
“There’s this animé character called Black Butler who can do just about anything and he’s so confident. ” When someone’s at an inconvenience and you can do something to make their life easier, it makes them happy. That’s what being a butler is all about. It’s the epitome of great customer service.”
