He tries to balance job, family and golf career
“I play on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour and have taken my share of first places. But my job is very demanding, last year especially, so I kind of got a little rusty.
“I’m a construction project manager, and I’ve worked all over the United States and Canada. When I’m away from home and when I come back, I want to dedicate time to my kids and try to catch up on all their activities. Sometimes, when I’m a few holes into a round, I’ll find myself wondering what my son’s doing or what my daughter’s doing. It’s tough to stay focused on the game, but they’re very important to me.”
