Sports broadcasting’s ‘awesome lifestyle’ appealing
“Ever since I was a little kid, I played all the sports that I could. Then coming up to high school, I actually quit sports because I couldn’t watch sports. I couldn’t go to football games because I had volleyball practice or a game.
“I wanted to be on the sidelines instead of in the game, which some people might think is kind of odd. But my goal is to be like Erin Andrews or Sam Ponder, where she does “College GameDay” and travels all around the country, sees all different types of campuses and helps get everyone hyped up for the games. It seems like an awesome lifestyle.”
What do your friends think about you wanting to be in sports broadcasting?
“They think it’s awesome and want to do it, too, but not as much as I do.”
