He hopes to become a doctor so he can help people
Roldan Lerma is struggling to find a job that will help him save money to attend college.
“When I was in high school, I joined this group that went to the clinics and helped doctors with their patients. I thought that was pretty cool. I also have a grandmother who is sick, and I always go with her to appointments where I see a lot of other people needing help.
“All of that made me realize that helping people is something I want to do with my life. One day, I’d like to become a doctor.”
