She’s all about helping others in the community
“I started this thing called the Really, Really Free Market of Baytown. Basically, everybody brings stuff to donate and we have a giant garage sale, but everything’s free. Everybody gets a bag and they collect what they want. Whatever’s left over, I either save for the next month or I take it to Goodwill.”
Why did you start it?
“I came from a low-income family, and we had a lot of help from churches and different organizations. My mom always had to get help for things like school supplies and presents for Christmas. So I thought if I could help others who might be going through the same thing, then that would be worthwhile. It’s a way for everyone to help out their community.”
