College student weighs her career options

Dylan Harvey wasn’t feeling so photogenic the day we visited, but was happy to show off her rescue dog, Molly.

It’s a familiar story. One I hear often enough from young college students.

“I’m studying business management right now. I like the idea of working for myself and being my own boss. But I don’t know. I might change my major. There are a lot of things I might want to do, but I’m still in the process of deciding.”

Have you received any career advice from family members?
“Yeah. But I’m just trying to figure it out on my own.”

Are you worried, not knowing what your future holds?
“No. I think we all figure out what we’re here for, sooner or later.”
