Single mom sets great example for her kids
Tracy Ruffin takes time out between classes at Lee College.
“My mom just finished her college degree after 27 years. She’s 45. She got a general studies degree, and she’s going back for psychology. She’s doing it to meet her personal goal. And she’s setting an example for us kids. She’s showing us how it’s done.
“She’s a single mom. She had two jobs and five kids to take care of for years. It was a long road to get where she’s at now, I’ll tell you that. She’s one of the big things that’s motivating me right now.”
