Ace flies around his family’s apartment

“Good morning, ground crew.”
— Ace, a Pomeranian-Poodle mix

“We got him from the Friends for Life shelter in Houston. It’s a no-kill animal shelter, and they foster out all the pets. We got him as soon as he was available. They took in his mom when she was pregnant, and we got him at 8 weeks.

“He’s a little rascal. His name is Ace because of the flying ace, like Snoopy, and it matches his personality. He goes off the walls in our apartment. We have wood floors, so he’ll run around the apartment and kind of lose his footing and slide into the doors. It’s kind of funny. I feel bad because he bonks his head. But he shakes it off quickly, and he’s ready to start running around again.”
