Buster the boxer best big brother
Meet Buster, a boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.
“My wife worked at Chinquapin School, and he wandered onto the campus. I didn’t really want a dog, so my nieces took him. That was a bad idea because they’re 5 and 8, and their mom just couldn’t handle both girls and a hyper dog running all over the place. So we took him back.
“We thought he would be pretty bad with our baby coming. We thought we might have to give him away. But as soon as that baby came home, he just flipped the switch. He became a big brother right away. He protects her, he watches her. When she cries and we go to another room, he follows and starts crying, too.
“He thinks he’s still a lap dog. He lays on the bed, and we have to tell him to get off. And he snores. But he’s a good boy.”
