When it comes to clothes, and cars, he sees white

“Haven’t you read in the Bible where it says to always wear white? It’s Ecclesiastes 9, I think verses 7-9. It’s something like, ‘Drink your wine with a joyful heart. Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the meaningless days of your meaningless life. And let your garments always be white.’

Do you wear white every day?

“Sure. Go in the laundromat over there and look at my wash. That’s all I’ve got. I was living in Nebraska when I started switching over to white. The only time I would wear other colors is when the white ones all got dirty. When I moved here, the only thing I bought was white. That way, you don’t have to worry about it.”

How about your white car?

“When I got down here, I was driving a red one. Changed over to this in 2014. I’m all set now.”
