He loves coaching, but family comes first
“I was good enough to tell you what to do, but I couldn’t get my body to do it. So I decided that coaching was the way to go.”
“My dream is to be a head basketball coach. I’ve been an assistant at several schools, but haven’t gotten that big opportunity yet.
“We have four kids, a 10-year-old, 2-year-old and 6-month-old twins. Family comes first, so I’ve turned down a few head coaching jobs because of the time commitment. With a lot of the small schools you have to coach three sports, and I’m just not willing to take that much time away from my family.”
