Sons are willing taste testers for cakes, fudge
“When my father passed away, my mother really didn’t want to go out of the house. So I signed us up for cake decorating classes and told her she kind of had to go because she was my ride. It helped get her back out into the world.
“I’ve been at it for years now, mostly making cakes and fudge. You have to sell what you like, and I sure really like what I sell. My boys do, too. They’re big boys, and they love mama’s cooking. It’s called product control. They help me make sure it’s always good.”
