Missionary work in Mexico making a difference
She comes from a very large family, and says that “church is real important to us.”
“We met at vacation bible school in Matamoros, Mexico. I was teaching the smaller kids and he was in one of the older classes. We’ve been married for going on 18 years now.
“I taught down there for three summers with my aunt. She’s a pastor here, but she’s done missionary work for years.
“Last year, we heard from one of the boys who was little back then. He said he didn’t realize it at the time, but now he knows he had a calling because he’s become a pastor. He wanted to let us know that everything we did, to keep on doing it. It’s making a difference.”
