“I feel like I hit the ground running in life too early. I grew up too fast. It was more a case of me not taking things as seriously as I should have. My priorities weren’t straight.

“I didn’t grow up with a father around, so I never had anyone to show me the different aspects of being a man. I’m 19, and I have a daughter who’s 3. Now I’m really starting to see what life is all about.

“My little girl coming into my life is the best thing that ever happened to me. I want things to be different for her. I’m her dad. I have to be there for her.”
