‘Missing him is such a sad thing’

“Weston got sick all of a sudden. It happened so fast that we feel like we didn’t really get to say goodbye like if he would have been ill for a while.
“He had a good checkup on a Friday, and he passed away the next Wednesday with flu, pneumonia and sepsis. He was 24. I guess that just shows how fragile the skin disorder had made his body.
“Weston was very sweet, and he had a great sense of humor. Missing him is such a sad thing. Looking at pictures now and thinking he only had a week to live after this or that photo, and we didn’t know, is just the hardest thing.”
